nice building, i think.

built in the 1930's, it is one of the few older buildings not destroyed by the 6.0 earthquake that hit banja luka on october 26, 1969, nor the 6.4 earthquake that followed the next day.

home, sweet styrofoam

i've pictured many things in my life.

living in a cinder block box covered with styrofoam panels was not one of them.

that was a minor oversight in my picturing practice, it seems, because it turns out that winter will be a lot warmer in our little box what with all that insulation going up.
